Fix a missing, duplicate, or incorrect Exclaimer signature

Check the message type and Outlook add-in before asking Kenmie to correct managed signature data.

Check the message

  1. 1

Confirm whether the issue affects a new message, reply, forward, shared mailbox, alias, desktop Outlook, web Outlook, or mobile Outlook.

  2. 2

Open the Exclaimer add-in and confirm an approved signature is available. Allow time for a recently changed signature or user detail to synchronize.

  3. 3

Remove any personal Outlook signature that is creating a second signature, but do not delete or alter the managed Exclaimer design.

  4. 4

If the signature is still missing or wrong, send Kenmie a screenshot, the affected email address, Outlook version, message type, and whether recipients see a different result than the sender.

Contact Kenmie for data changes

Name, title, department, phone number, address, and other signature fields may come from Microsoft 365 or a managed Exclaimer profile. Kenmie can identify the authoritative source and correct it without creating a one-off local signature.

Do not send test messages containing confidential information. Use a harmless test message while the signature is being verified.
