What to expect

FireCloud can apply your organization’s internet and private-resource access policies to a managed device even when it is away from the office. Protection may be active without requiring you to start a traditional VPN for ordinary internet access.

If a resource stops working

  • Confirm the device has internet access and note the network being used.
  • Record the destination, application, exact error or block message, and time.
  • Do not disable the FireCloud component, security agent, or browser protection.
  • Contact Kenmie and explain whether the resource works from the office or another connection.

Do not use a personal VPN, proxy, or hotspot to bypass organizational policy. Kenmie can evaluate whether the resource should be allowed.
