Before you begin
- Have the AuthPoint activation email available.
- Make sure your phone can install apps and use its camera.
- Only activate a token you requested or expected. Contact Kenmie if an unexpected activation message arrives.
Install the app

Open the Apple App Store or Google Play Store on your phone.

Search for WatchGuard AuthPoint and confirm WatchGuard Technologies is the publisher.

Install the app, then allow notifications and camera access when prompted. Notifications are needed for push approvals; camera access is used to scan the activation code.
Activate your token

Open the activation email on a computer and select its activation link.

Open AuthPoint on your phone and select Activate. If another token is already present, use the QR-code scanner in the app.

Scan the QR code displayed on the computer. If you opened the activation page on your phone, tap Activate to open AuthPoint directly.

When the token appears in AuthPoint, setup is complete. You may give the token a recognizable name.
Activation links normally expire after seven days. If the link has expired or the email is missing, contact Kenmie Support for a new activation message.
