Open the secure message
- 1
Confirm that you recognize the sender and expected the secure message.
- 2
Open the Protected Message Notification and choose the option to view the secure message. In supported versions of Outlook, you may also open the Send It Secure add-in from the notification.
- 3
Complete the requested identity verification. Depending on the sender’s policy, this may be an account sign-in, phone verification, or an answer established by the sender.
- 4
Read the message in the secure portal or Outlook add-in. Use its Reply option when your response also contains sensitive information.
If the message will not open
Do not forward the secure notice to another person as a workaround. Contact Kenmie Support with the sender, time received, and the error shown. Do not include sensitive message contents in the support request. If you do not know an answer required to open the message, contact the sender through a trusted channel.
