Save open work immediately and close applications that could prevent a clean restart.

If Restart Now is available and business activity permits, select it. A restart completes updates that cannot finish while Windows is running.

If your organization permits Later, choose it only when an immediate restart would interrupt active work. Plan to restart at the next safe opportunity.

If a countdown is shown, assume the computer will restart when it reaches zero and save your work before that time.
Shutting down with Windows Fast Startup is not always equivalent to a complete restart. Use Restart when Kenmie or the prompt specifically requests it.
Contact Kenmie when
- The prompt returns after a completed restart.
- The device cannot restart safely because it controls an active business process.
- An update appears stuck, fails repeatedly, or causes an application problem.
